My Mate got a Samsung Galaxy S II...
So yeah, he asked me to set it up, copy his old contacts, whatever. But yeah, long stories suck, but I was really fucking surprised when I hit on the *tegra zone* and got blasted with a VO advert! Was not much more than a banner, but really didn't expect to see it.
Sooo anyway, all devices with Tegra chips, regardless of country (I'm in the UK, so I don't think I'm included in the Motarola deal you had) are getting these adverts, but yet there is no information about the sideload app or the fact it is tablet only at the mo, maybe it needs expanding? It ran fine on his device, but the UI was sooo small, well, you know this already. So just thought I'd pop in and say hi, and congrats on the new advertising coverage. (he said he might look into downloading it for his PC if he had time).
Maybe I'll come back and kill all you bitches soon, but anyway, congrats.

Hi Yoda, thanks for the heads-up. I actually emailed NVIDIA earlier today about some recommended changes to Tegra Zone (specifically related to the lack of tablet-only support information). We've definitely had a lot of exposure on there, as part of our relationship with them.
I'm a little surprised that Tegra Zone was on a Galaxy S II, since that is not a Tegra device (it uses a Samsung "Exynos" dual-core CPU). I'm also happy to hear the game ran well, since the S II's GPU has no support for compressed textures beyond the "ETC1" standard, which is not terribly useful to modern games. So, the Galaxy S II is actually not a recommended device for running our game at all, and I'm glad it.. worked?

Sorry Inc, I got the phone wrong, he got Motarola Atrix, he was banging on about the Samsung Galaxy S II for weeks, so yeah, wrong phone in the title, but still good news.
