Repair Badge Status?

What ever became of this? I haven't heard anything about it since.

It was my understanding that repairs to players have been tracked since this time, and the reason the badge hasn't been implemented yet was to get a feel for where the cutoffs for various levels of the badge should occur.

The reason I am bringing this up now is I think in addition to excluding NPC repairs from the count, it might also be a good idea to exclude capship repairs. The reason being that capships such high armor that it would make regular ship repairs become insignificant. It pretty much takes unloading an entire repair module on a trident (I only tied on an NPC one) to see any increase in the armor percent.

For comparison, when repairing a Trident I had to reload a ragnarok equipped with 2 repair modules and 3 light repair modules 3 or 4 times. When doing repairs at B8 (with one regular and one light repair module), I will reload about 3 times in 2 hours with 2-4 fights going on simultaneously. That makes repairing a capship low on armor approximately equal to 9 hours of repairing at B8 with decent activity levels.

For combat repairs, I'd reload a regular and light repair module probably about every 15-20 minutes. Assuming a third of the shots are misses would make one capship repair approximately equal to 3 hours of combat repairs.

I look forward to seeing how many repairs I have accumulated over the last nearly 2 years.

Hmm. Ok. We're kinda swamped, but I'll see about excluding capships as soon as I can.

It might be nice to have separate badges for capships/station turrets and players rather than none for capships/turrets or one for both. This isn't the suggestion forum though. :P
