In Space, no one can hear you...
...Do anything?
Is there a soundtrack/effects/etc to Vendetta? So far I cannot hear anything in any portion of the game and i cannot figure out why.
By the way, new guy here; I play Itani Azrael Caine; Several of you have been of great help to me so far, thanks!
I just started a couple days ago and really enjoy it so far. Of course, if you can help me to find some audio I'm sure I'll enjoy it even more :D

Yes, there are sound effects all over. Music plays on every screen, weapons and engines make noise, etc.. Is sounds like you have a hardware issue on your end.
Check the operating system specific forum for your device, and also the Bugs forum for possible solutions. If that doesn't help, try posting in one of those with the specs for your computer (operating system, sound card, driver version, etc.). Failing all that, see the left column for the Support link.

Will do, thanks!
I just wanted to be sure I should be hearing things before I started posting about issues. As it currently is, my VO gaming has that "hyper-Reality" eerie, lost in space feeling to it with everything in complete silence; makes for an unusual gaming experience.
I just wanted to be sure that wasn't the goal of the developers (because it is certainly fun in its own way) ;-)

Thanks much everyone; the suggestions in those linked threads got me working properly! No more Sci-Fi Thriller silences for me in-game :D
Fixing these bizarro Windows 7 audio problems are high on our list. We don't personally have any hardware that actually exhibits problems as of yet, but they seem common enough to be rather annoying.
I've been able to get 5.1 and 7.1 on Vista sound drivers. The game could default to those since they're usually already installed on Win7 machines, as a temporary fix?
