An interesting thread. One of the things that VO has taught me is how well so many people for whom english is a second language manage. A few have asked me to edit before they post, I am constantly surprised by their fluency in what is a inconsistent and complex language.

I am seeing an increasing internationalism in VO. People from India, Eastern europe, Africa and East asia enjoying the game is to my mind a most welcome expansion of VO .

So, my feeling would be that any guides to VO in any language would be helpful. I accept that the present manuals are well behind the game, but any new manuals in any language would help.

I was translating the backstory to Spanish, but stopped cuz of lazyness and stuff. Now that I found it, it says "You do not have access to this forum". Why? :(

After some testing, it doesn't appear to be possible to fully integrate localization of missions through a plugin without extensive hacking of the UI. Similarly, localizing the GUI through a plugin faces the same challenges. I have some ideas for an official modification to the GUI that I will pass along after further testing. Mission localization, while still possible, isn't probably going to be feasible, but I will continue to look into possible methods.

My native language is Russian, I live in Riga, LV and I am full time journalist/writer, so there won't be any problems for me to translate anything into Russian or Latvian here.
