Anyone near completion? I'm excited!

I suspect that if anyone were near completion, they'd keep their mouths shut about it. I'd go off in a distant sector and train with it for awhile. I'd also amass a fleet of fighters.

Good point. I'm just really excited, I always tried to get into playing VO but the lack of capital ships was a feature I wasn't willing to overlook. Now that it looks like they will get moar love I'll have to dive in and start amassing a fortune so I can buy one from someone.

Although I suspect my first/second one will be blown to bits, if I ever get one lol.

I (and the BLF) have to date completed 1254 Tridents, 578 Connies, 2734 HACs and 11,952.2 Teradons. After which, we laid a trail of destruction from Bractus to UIT space and from there to Itani space, thus securing Latos to Edras for Bractus...Eo to Deneb in the name of the mighty Serco Empire , Jallik to Eo's border for Bractus and leaving Arta Celestis for the UIT.

Equanimizer, Inc was talking about a "mission" where you could get insurance for cappies... which provides a much needed money sink and lessens the frustration of losing a ship you spent six to twelve months of hard work to get.

So don't fret too much, yeah... you'll likely lose a few, but it'll be ok.

Sounds awesome. I was waiting for Taikodom at one point because they were planning to implement capital ships, but that never happened.

It seems like VO might be the first MMO to do such a thing :D!

I'm pretty certain that there are a few games out there with cappies... VO is just the best.
