Yeah, learning the trade standards themselves still isn't quite enough - the grammar is funny, too. The letters read left-to-right, but the symbols read right-to-left, and on the vertical signs the symbols seem to read bottom-to-top, while the letters read top-to-bottom.

I dunno, anybody who doesn't call the written language by its proper name (Waylonics) might not be qualified to teach it...
