The UI is a whole other story when working on a skin

Hud: large pictures that don't get chopped up to be used a bit all over the place
Station ui: bunch of small pictures that get chopped up and used all over the place

what's tricky for me is making a pretty hud or station UI then making the corresponding station ui or hud.

Here's the login screen i'm gonna try to have that much detail into some of the station UI elements but i doubt its gonna be possible but this should still give you an idea how its going to look.

The hud is pretty much finished there are a few changes i want to do to the powerbars and the target leadoff stuff.

These changes are pretty small and i'll probably post a .zip file with all the updated goodies and more stuff tomorrow night if I end up working on it all day.

PS, if you think it looks blurry that's due to the Anti Aliasing I have enabled when i turn it off the lines look much sharper and more defined however it makes stations roids and other 3d stuff look like crap on the edges so i keep it on.

Dude. Good work on this skin! It's the only one I found that I like to use so far. Easy on the eyes and stylish. It's going to almost make me feel guilty about taking a bounty off of you some day :-)

I noticed what you did with the speed bar/F/A thing and the opposite one and the distance meter. Much less curvy and nicer. nicely done!

Oh.. wait. I'm actually using your Dark Screen. It looks a lot like you screen shots, but when I try the Light Screen at the link above, I get a very different result than the shots above.

Either way, I'm loving the Dark Screens and look forward to trying the finished product on the Light Screen. The Radars look sharp!

Ignore my silliness above. It's amazing what a single lower-case character in the config file will do to your skin :-)

I had "Light_screen" instead of "Light_Screen." Fixing the caps made all the difference and I like this one much more than the Dark Screen. Thanks again, Spidey! Good work!

Hey, Spidey. Great Skin. Just one question: I'm using the Light_Screen and I have two very minor spots that show up as white space. I figure it's a missing png file, but I've downloaded and replaced the files twice now.

One is along the hud chat border where the little scroll bar is on the right side. The whole thing is a narrow whitespace.

The second is whenever the Mission icon pops up (like when you complete a mission). You can see the "M" on the icon, but the icon is otherwise all white.

I've thought of replacing these files from another skin, but I can't seem to figure out which files they are. I thought the first was hud_chat_scrollbar or something... but I'm not sure.

I can't imagine that there's a file missing from your zip since I haven't heard anyone else mention it. And I like the skin enough that I'll continue to play using it regardless... but I'd love to at least get rid of the white area in the chat scroll bar.

I can get a screen dump if you need it.

the HUD does anyways I'll try to put some work in light/dark screen tonight seeing I shoudn't have anything to do tomorrow, if I end up in B8 feel free to remind me since I'm a somewhat forgetful person. :P
