[[[Did I miss something? PaladinOfLancelot it seems like you resubbed (or at least tried to)]]]
Incorrect. I did already resubscribe because of the "coming of capships". I wanted to check out if there is much new stuff ingame.
Of course, I did not subscribe using this VO account, because I have another one, completely separate.

Well of course I am "unfulfilled". If i was fulfilled, then why discuss and suggest, right ?
The direct reason why i bother to come here and suggest/complain is the game encouraging me to do it. So unless the "have a suggestion ? come to the forums and share it" screens are removed from the game, I will probably always come here and create suggestions.

[[[Now I'm a little slow, but that didn't stop me from learning the mission editor. I've written sixty-four missions to date, and I've probably got at least that many more in me. If you want to change things, nobody is stopping you from doing so. There are literally an infinite number of possible combinations of things you could come up with in the editor,

You are partially right, I was actually thinking about learning LUA and writing something myself, but i soon realized it is not possible to implement the things i suggested only using LUA.
But I am seriously thinking that if this game was at least partially Open Source, i would learn C++ just to implement the things I want the way I want. I never before had serious incentive to learn C/C++, but I guess that would be reason enough to waste few months.
I developed programs for more than 12 years in multiple languages, so it shouldn't be very difficult for me to learn another.
OK, but now back to the point: since i can't either help the game or realise myself here using programming, I'm doing it using suggesting things.
I discovered I am actually quite good at inventing & designing things - that is probably directly related to the fact that i can design large applications from scratch.

Oh, I am being appreciative. If I wasn't, I wouldn't pay for the account.
I am appreciative, but I am also a little annoyed.

I think we can safely say there are a number of perspectives. Some people are more optimistic on our progress than others, and that's life. Although the negativity has been hitting a lot of threads lately, I'm going to lock this one too before it runs away any further.
