Convert that mac desktop over on the news page to a .bmp or .jpg for me? I can't seem to get it....

Right click (or control click) the link and save it to your desktop. The actual page doesn't have to load, if that's the problem. In any case it's working fine here.

That one's ancient. That post was here in 3.0.x. The pics are compressed with stuffit. I do have the uncompressed jpegs, but I don't think he would like me to post 'em on my website. Oh, what the heck. I'll edit this with the addy soon. Wait a sec- the uncompressed jpegs are there already! D'oh!

err, no, what I meant is the actual cool looking desktop file thats in their site, you've got to dig a little, i extracted it and it gave me Mac .rsc file and something else, (I'm on a PC)

That's a desktop, not that piece of crap.

Um. What you posted has two chief characteristics that make it irrevelant to this thread:

1) It is abstract
2) It has nothing to do with Vendetta

However, Crackintosh's desktops are all good, all vendetta-related and look quite professional when compared, for example, to the desktops that you can find for download on the website of pretty much any game. Use the Homeworld (1, not 2) desktops for comparison and you'll see what I mean.

Does anyone have some images they could post to be the Home icon, the CDROM icon, etc.? Maybe also a few generic ones as well? It would be best in they were PNG with transparent backgrounds, and a decent size so they could be scaled down and look shweet. Thanks!
