Funny enough I'm asking this from my android phone. I read about that upcoming release. I want to know about gameplay though. I've been absent for about a year, but I don't have time for going through 52 threads of optimizing.

I remember ideas like a crafting system with effects from different types of ore. Trading in grey. What's the highlights and activity ingame these days? I'm looking around for a PC hobby again.

Conquerable stations. There are three stations in unmarked sectors of greyspace, each defended by an array of 8 turrets (6 cap-gauss and 2 swarm, if I remember right) and two station guards. To capture the stations, you have to kill all turrets, wait two minutes, then be the first person to dock. You can then set the station to not attack people by giving them access keys. Also, you have to be careful about how you take out the turrets because they respawn after ten minutes or so (or is it five?). So if you take them out one at a time, the first ones could well respawn before you finish killing the rest, and you'll have to kill them again. And of course, the current owners won't like you trying to steal the station away from them, and the game notifies them when a station is attacked, so they'll be trying to repair the turrets and kill you.

What do you get for your troubles? Free repairs and access to manufacturing missions. Each of the three stations has a different set of missions (except I think they all have the new conc-railgun mission?). They don't sell you anything though, just a free bus.

Most of the manufacturing missions are geared toward building capships and perhaps stations (probably not anytime soon for the latter). There are some for various types of gear though. Off the top of my head, a repair turret, the biocom mine, and concussion railguns. I think there was also a radar extender or something, and another type of turret, but I might be mistaken.

Other smaller changes that come to mind are a number of new missions, static exit points in ion storms, and making the three hives distinct. There were other small changes as well that I don't remember.

Fifteen, and at 9%. They regenerate 9% armor per minute after spawning, but have an incredibly amount of armor.

I think there was also a radar extender or something, and another type of turret, but I might be mistaken.

Neutron blaster MkIII turret.

There were other small changes as well that I don't remember.

Dynamic Deneb, updated and guild voice chat, are the important ones I remember that you missed.... no offense for correcting. ;)

Here's a video I made of some recent conflict around a conquerable station in the Pelatus system. Most of the action's from when the turrets are down and everyone is scrambling to control the docking area. You can see me attempt to dock around 0:44, realize that the opposing side's already controlled the station, then turn around and start going after the turrets as they launch.
