Support for bluetooth input devices like Wiimotes or that zeemote joystick thing would be cool. Especially if the Android version inherits the very flexible control configuration that the PC/Mac/Linux versions of VO have.

There's a lot of other games I play where i've thought "Damn, if only i could do xxx like i can with Vendetta..."

:)

Not to derail the thread, but to 2nd Maal, I PvP with FA on about 80% of the time, toggling it off every now and then.

(And to all you "distance controllers" it's a hell of a lot more fun like that! =p)

I bet Thrust Assist mode would be a nice way to fly your ship on a tablet...

I believe V.O. should be listed on
"Comparison of MMORPGs"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_MMORPGs

at least, it merits it!
a couple of games listed there have smaller active user base than VO.

cheers,

You was right. Now VO is there...

Cool, Alloh. Although we should probably have the light-blue "Free" under "client purchase price", since that column is just asking if it's a retail purchase or not.

Nuff said about control problems, people are already working on it for other devices too, so yeah, controller addons to yer 'droid device are coming. AFAIK, if your keyboard and mouse work with 'droid, they should work with VO too. So I can imagine taking a tablet upstairs and continuing gaming on that in bed.

Anyway, good work Guild, I'll be a bit inactive for a bit anyway, but I look forward to slaughtering some handheld newbs soon! (Maybe with a handheld, you never know!)

You can certainly plug a mouse into an android device and do stuff, but it doesn't really behave like a "mouse" per se, it's more like a "virtual finger". So it makes "mouse-look" stuff impossible, as Android doesn't currently let you capture all mouse movement.

But, keyboard stuff works great. The game is actually pretty awesome on the Toshiba AC100 (I'm not recommending people run out and buy one, but the keyboard play works well). I would lean towards getting a touchscreen device, something more likely to get Android Market approval, but the keyboard play is just as good as the PC. And some of us (myself included) use to do some pretty extensive combat with keyboard-only. Especially with rockets.

Anyway, no question that more input devices and things are coming out. That will only expand as more games appear and drive the market.
