interesting, when I tried to unload it said station error. I got this when shot down moth from tunguska convoy.

It's been happening for about a month now, voys started carrying valuable hive drops at the same time. Apparently there's a thriving market for the stuff, the ships in particular. Don't ask me why, it seems a pretty insane way to spend your money.

I submitted a support ticket on it sometime last month, but got no reply, so I guess this is the intended behaviour - maybe a leadin to player tradeable vessels or something.

That would be nice...I've got a sizeable collection of queen cores and hive posis which were going to sweeten my retirement, which obviously isn't going to happen if they're dropping by the connie load ;.)

Pirren, do you happen to know what happened before you acquired the engine? Or what you did to cause you to have the item?

Some convoys seem to drop ships-as-cargo and ship engines. The ships-as-cargo don't have any engines in them so when you unload them from your ship cargo to a station they become real ships which can't be piloted. The engines can't be unloaded from your ship cargo into the station cargo hold.

Actually, this has happened with me quite a lot, too... I have upwards of 10,000 cu of various engines, all scattered through moths...

I started convoy at Tunguska Odia H-6 and then cancelled it. There was only 1 single moth.

I followed to Odia B-13 and killed it. The drop was 120xRagnarok mklll engines.

I looted 50 items, looked the best price in system but it said 0.
Then I went to Corvus capitol to sell it, thought maybe there I'll be able to sell it for some creds.
But.. I couldn't unload and finally sold the cargo for 0 credits.

P.S. there was one more little bug during the "battle". Behemoth and escorting centurion didn't fight back, when I attacked moth.

The convoys with ships and engines I kill shoot back.

Seemed like Odia H-6 in particular was shipping a lot of Ragnarock mkIII engines into Serco space last week (don't know if they still are, haven't logged in during the last couple days). There were some other engine types being shipped around as well. I think I caught some IBG engines heading out of the Ineubis station in Odia.
