Since I started playing this game I wanted to keep some kind of log. I just worked up the nerve.

I hope you guys don't mind if I mention any of you in it (I've referenced CHRN so far). Don't worry, it's not going to be bad or I'm not going to sit there and criticize anyone... everything goes in this game. It's 100% in character.

So I put up one post which is basically what I spent my time doing in the last couple of days I've played along with my 8 hour trial from months ago. Plus, this guy is excited with his Orion standing! REV C OH YEAH!!!

Anything that sheds light on what's happening in VO is a good thing imo. From the message board it is hard to tell what's going on in the VO universe like what the major conflicts are and what stations are changing hands etc.

Yes! I made sure I added links to the Vendetta Website, Wiki, and even videos on Youtube. They really need to implement the recorder in this game...

Soon enough I'm going to take screenshots in my Rev C and put them up on picasa... just for a slideshow. This game, for having such "low" graphics, really has some stunning visuals.

I felt this was a good way to give back to the devs... try and get some exposure out there.

PS: I can't stress how much I love the gameplay though. Twitch is the best, hands down. I like the idea that my skill determines how I win, not my level (WoW, I'm looking at you).

Any idea on an average height? I want to be a little short than normal.

7-8 feet. The big Serco are precisely that, big.

I've heard of one or two nine-foot tall serco. I'd recommend strengthening your heart with some sort of cybernetic if you go above 7 foot 6", though. It's rumored the stupidity of serco is due to less bloodflow to the brain, caused by their great height (gravity) and fewer than needed heart augments. :-)

Great stuff so far... its nice to meet others that like the RP aspect of MMORPGs! Feel free to chat me up in game, I'm also usually in the Gray areas of space myself... (though, I'm not big on mining).

One point of interest, VPR was founded before CHRN... however, many of CHRNs pilots were around when VPR was formed.

As far as I know, none of [CHRN]'s current members were around when The Vipers first formed. No current members of [VPR] were even around then. The Vipers go back over 7 years. I think an early version of "The Syndicate" involving genka was around back then, mostly unrelated to the [Syn] we're familiar with from more recently.
