In a startling development today, red was boldy attacked by busses in their homesector. The leader of this attack, Scuba Steve 9.0, believed that a few "souped up" busses could enter s2 and take the flag...

Lo and behold, the Itani bus strikeforce made it halfway through 8 before the reds took their flag back. Although red, Executor, attempted to aim petty insults towards the bus army, the reds had to use rags, vults, and valks to quash a few busses.

Reds tried to cap Golds while blues got ready, Reds failed trying to cap Gold, and were (presumably) going for anothe run when red flag was grabbed. Blues used all busses (but a couple) and got it to s8.

That doesn't look like 12. The sky isn't at all reddish. What settings are those?

So what's up with this anti-red thing anyways. I don't think it's conscious or anything but everyone hate red.

umm...its 800x600 on a seriously outdated graphics card...

either way it was absolutely rediculous to see a bunch of reds being capped by a few buses and a maud every now and again. what suprises me the most is that the buses did better than the valks and the vults. i took a valk and couldnt get to the flag fast enough... was it cause i had the valk and the switching to the valk took too long or was it that i just dint have a good set up?

valk set up: hvy/hvy tri gauss

bus set up: med/fast tachyon

sorry had a double post on accident...

blah blah blah.... sercos almost capped by itani buses.... blah blah blah insult blah.... hmmm.... buses get to s8.... sercos retrieve flag and waste mines when only 1 valk was around to grab it and yet that valk was too far.... sercos taking a break as teh itani did or what?...

That's a dated graphics card? Pretty impressive, considering that it can get r_glow working. Unless that was a Photoshop job.

I just upped the brightness a bit so you could see the stuff...although that may have done it....Ill go look into it...

meh, with sooped up buses you can do anything, in fact, it's the best ship to steal frig cargo in.

try out a double tach gemini loadout on a valk. Gemini for harassing purpose. Ow and a med/fast charge. It makes all the difference :D

Aye! Souped busses rule, except their easy to kill with only 6000 armour and only have 1 weapon bay! I was in on that too. Red's mistake for it making so far was that they were not quick to respond. It was perfect timing.

congrats guys... you brought our flag to 8 with bus.... but as electric_27 said , i see some reds discriminations.... "they used valks etc..." well you tried to cap we defended that's all.... that would have been fun if you had capped.. you didn't... well there's toher things to say that "reds used valk hogs and vult to beat us" when we are using vults to lots of defenders got valks..... are we complaining? i don't think so... you know this cap was a fun idea... but it didn't worked... well there's other cap that worth to be said , even if not fun but really spctacualr , as 8 red capping gold falg while 6 golds including 3 vets were online and 14 itatnis guys trying to interfer the cap... that was so fun because itani , without knowing it helped us to cap , by trying to grab the flag and getting killed they was just reseting timer....

look shut up about that cap. it was my fault i took blame for it. i brought it to s13 and i grabbed some 5-6 times while it was in s13. i went to the closest sector to escape both serco and nuetral rockets, i messed up i admit it get over it. that cap didnt compare to the bus cap. they were in no way the same except for the fact that they were caps involving itani and serco. and besides it happened back there. dont live in the past it says nothing of the future. reds defended took a while but the succeeded thats all that can be said. oh and itani failed at another cap which we could have had if we used something else besides buses, but we were bored.

well, that could have used a question mark but, its still a good question. Why DO people hate red? What did we ever do to you? I love red, its the character I mainly use and heck, I might just delete my blue and gold chars and go pure red. Well, you ppl can say why you hate red, I'll tell you why I like it.

Every nation has it's own pros and cons.
I like blue because it actualy cares about capping (though other nations are improving in this area)
I like gold because the maud is the ultimate botting weapon (though a can just go to s18 and get one)
I like red because of the people on it. Every time I log in and watch the chat, it isn't a swarm of nobodies and a few vets, it's ppl I know. I may not know them well but I look at those names and I know all those ppl....

Their may not be a lot of us but that just creates this sense of togetherness.

i don't think we really hate red.......much. But some of the people on it that can get very annoying. Otherwise red is a good team as is the others just like you said. But we don't hate red, we just dislike them a lot :D...j/k
