-Please no. Basing the game on skill instead of the amount of time you waste is what sets Vendetta apart from other MMORPGs. Take that away and it would suck.
But a reputation system is being put in place, so your actions will have an effect on how people treat you.

Although I don't want to see lvl's increase abilities, I would like to see bounty based on your score. For instance, Firemage has a score of 2,000,000; his basic bounty should be 2000 not 40 so if I show him that I am the uberest fighter in the galaxy my score will increase by 2k instead of only 40.
Well lets see, the minute you log on you should have info and acces to every single technology of the nation you joined?
I don't think so.
I think youy should start with minimal technology then slowly get more as your faction for that nation increases.

Agreed, SL.
Interesting thought experiment on that note:

just two small questions: who determines where the being a vets starts and where it ends? what are the criteria?
and in response to SirCamps' post:

G-Cleric, OUCH! You're a writer? Very cool.... question, did you go to college?
*whips out grammar fairy wand*
Oh and I was flying through 13/12/2 the whole time and never attacked you.
"x" is to target closest hostiles. Use it, love it, live it.

a) please think of that fact that english is *not* everyone's first language (it isn't for me and neither for G-Cleric). not as an excuse for the errors, but you were just being rude, and i resent that. it also makes prejudices come to life more easily and i resent those just as bad as the being rude.
b) if you were in 12, maybe he wouldn't even be able to target you with "closest enemy" because as you probably know there are bots in 12.

Toshiro: Thanks for your post. I too feel that the remarks by SirCamps (and others) in these pages are way out of line. I have a great deal of respect for people that can read, write and speak a language (or two) other than their native tounge. How about a bit of understanding here?
Alright, on second thought, my remarks were way out of line. I'm sorry.
I (naively) assumed that G-Cleric was an "English" magazine writer, and that is why I found his post so laughable. It never occurred to me that he spoke English only as a second language.
