Ponies can BE food blood thirsty.
then ye'll eat the pony, i'll go for the rider : )
Can we get it back on topic? It would suck to lock a thread about positive feedback. Surely you can do better?
Being able to find the Devs in the game.
And...

being able to stay away for weeks from the forums and still manage to keep up.
+++ Convoys with Connies.!.!
That is the bare minimum for a capitol ship! But was great to fly with those. sluggish, but cool!

I love the pvp focus and requirement for skill. Too many games put dumb restrictions on pvp, and rely on character strength instead of player strength. My main interest in playing this sort of game is to test myself against other people, and to make explosions.
And thank you much for gauss. It makes me a very happy space-viking, despite that prolonged use completely ruins my ability to aim.
Plugins are great. I'm always seeing dumb little things in life and thinking, "wouldn't it be cool if..." but usually I'm locked out. This is one of the big reasons I use Linux -> it's open source and easy to hack. (Thanks for supporting it btw.) I can do that here as well, via plugins.
Finally, I agree, thank you for /displayshippos. I actually thought you had finally nerfed it the other day, but I was just tired and was trying to run it as /shippos. I was very relieved to realize my mistake.

5) Whistler's secret pony infatuation!!
I have to say... I really do love the hippos. Despite what some fools think, it does not freeze the game. all you have to do is re type it or press escape to get rid of them. Hell, the hippos are a badge of honor in VO. And being tricked into seeing them is an even bigger honor for you see... if you are tricked into seeing the hippos you are automatically inducted into the "Brotherhood of Hippos" as a triple gold member for life.
I honestly hope the hippos never leave us.
All the droid stuff... doesn't do much for me but, it attracts more people which does good for VO over all.
Last but not least... the community. Ninety eight percent of the community in VO is a great bunch. One percent of the remaining two are meh... and the other one percent is ________.

The long awaited first/test implementation of player owned cappies.
The new subs, expanded market and free exposure VO received due to tablets.

Moar badges.
This thread sucks.
Do I have to be the one to say it? I guess Ryan just did, but I'll elaborate and drop in a screenshot just because I have so frakkin' many...
Player-Owned Capships: No matter how preliminary the initial offering, they are an enormous step forward into uncharted regions of gameplay. Even in their construction phase, the first few player Tridents have fostered a new level of player and community cooperation as well as conflict, a player-to-player free market of raw supplies and player-manufactured components, as well as huge traffic increases between nation and grey space upon which the rats may prey.
