Just a curiosity... but what games if any, have influenced the development of VO? I'm reminded of an old game called Space Rogue a little bit which I was addicted to when I was young. - I also can't put VO down now that I've begun to play - lol

I think it was mainly X-Wing and Elite. It's been compared as the 3D, MMO version of EVN, but I don't think that influenced development.
