Payment Processing - never completes the process - PayPal

Some info for new players, and i need an explanation...

I tried to pay for the recurring payment by paypal, and the screen goes to:

Your order is currently being processed. Please wait...
If this page does not auto-reload in five seconds, please click here.
You will be notified by an email to XXXXX@XXXXXX.com when the transaction is completed. If this email address is incorrect, go to the Account Info in the left-hand menu and change your email address.
You may view your updated account status here.


I added X's to not publish my email address. The screen just constantly reloaded, and never seemed to be processed, so i went back and tried again. still the same issue.

So 2 pending recurring payments on paypal to you....!?

i dont have this issue paying through paypal anywhere else globally.

I left the 2nd attempt processing, after about 15 mins, it processed. Why did it take so long?

I have 2 billing cycles showing on my Paypal account - i hope i am not getting billed twice.

It sounds like a PayPal issue and not at all a Vendetta issue. There is no internet connection between the two that would result in slow processing. Guild is very responsive to the users and I'm sure they will work with you to resolve this.

Create a support ticket and we can deal with this issue that way.

There have been a couple of cases where PayPal took up to 8 hours to acknowledge the payment.

If you tried it again, then it will most likely charge you a second time.

When you create the ticket, tell us the email address you use for PayPal so we can correlate the transaction with the payment. We'll discuss this via the ticket.

i will prepare a ticket.

best to say that processing via paypal can take a while... or something like that so that people dont close the window till the 'payment is processed..' window appears.

thats my 10 cents anyhow...

at present, ny bank shows just one payment, the other is still pending. is it likely that it wont go through? as i stopped the page processing the transaction..

i will send the ticket. we will need to discuss this if it does process again.

Thanks. It hasn't taken this long in the past The largest time it took was less than a minute in the past. But yeah, a notification saying that it may take a while is good.

Also on the plate is to have our system email you when the payment actually goes through and applies the time. That way you will know for sure when it goes through (in addition to the email you get from Paypal).
