I have been attempting the assassination mission and have not been getting any recognition in my mission log of my success at killing enemy serco (I am Itani) bots at the border or at stations. Can anyone who has done this mission tell me what to expect and if I need to kill a UIT bot as well, even though they aren't actually an enemy of Itan? Also, how much would it lower my rep with UIT for killing a bot? Answers to any of these questions will be much appreciated.

You will need to shoot uit bots too, and im not sure on the exact numbers, but alot of faction lose, like -600 to 800 the mission is rubbish, bad reward and payout, basically only do it if u want to become a pirate with kos standings

Out of curiosity, what did you expect out of a mission entitled "Assassination"?

could be quite alot of things... assasinate an infiltrator or something, i wouldnt instantly assume it meant kill 1 of every nation and give yourself awful standing

Apparently you only lose .5 standing for killing a station guard out of the NFZ...
