TZ, play the game a bit. It isn't easy to regain lost faction, and it isn't supposed to be.

Get a voy that travels from uit/itani space to serco space. Escort the voy as far as you can but abandon them at the serco border. You won't get 100% of the standing or cash but it's a way around it.
