I've buyed 2 Saitek ST 290...chances are that the delivery will be here on saturday...

*curious if the game is able to handle the 2 joysticks*

I'll use one for roll/nick, the other for speed control and rudder.

The fire buttons are for 1st and 2nd weapons.

Does someone know if the game is able to handle that?

I mean, in the config file are sections for joysticks, and the sections are having the name of the joysticks...so what happens when you've 2 identical joysticks?

I hope the game can handle that...

I'm sure the game will handle it, since others play with the same two joysticks.

I use an old Logitech Wingman Extreme... had it for about 8 years and it works like a hot damn. I use it in combination with the keyboard so I cant really say much for using 2 joysticks allthough I think it would make my brain lite on fire.

I use a logitech dual action gamepad, made in China. D-pad is for strafes, right analog stick for pitch/yaw (click for turbo), L1 + L2 thrust/reverse thrust, R1 + R2 weapons, select toggles roll.

woah the 2 joysticks (ST 290 Pro) are here :)

have configured them (no problem, I use them on one USB Slot, per USB Hub) but hell is that exhausting...my brain has to coordinate my left hand in a total new way than the past ~6 years and my left hand hurts ~.~...whoa...but it's pure fun :)

Dual sticks is indeed fun. Still, I need a mouse to control aiming with, my aim is bad enough WITH a mouse, it's completely horrid when I use dual sticks.

has anyone heard about the government program to replace all airplane cockpits with keyboards and mice? apparently due to so many l33t skillz out there they figured it would be for the best.

As a MechTech, these work quite well for me. Even against the dreaded Hive, I manage to kick botbutt.
