It has been replaced with the news section. Or rather, they got rid of it, but kept the news section.
Or that's how I understand it anyway.

I thought that the "In Progress" section was beein replaced by both (news and wiki).
however, I just want to know what the devs are working on...
for example, I want to know if they'll replace the "meters/second" with "miles/second" or "kilometeres/second". (65 meters/second is not really fast for a space ship)

We know, Detructor. This has been discussed to hell and back, twice. If you want a more realistic space game, play Space Invaders or Asteroids or something.

omg. Does everyone in this community is like you? I hope not.
I don't want to discuss that and I know that this has been discussed several times.
However, it's only a damn string in the HUD of the game...
oh and what exactly is realistic in Space Invaders? It's an old, bird-perspective game...same for Asteroids. They are NOT realistic, because of a missing dimension.
If I would want a realistic game, I would go and construct me an own space ship :p

Not everyone here is a troll Destructor, just a few of the most sad cases. :) I wouldn't bother replying to them unless they make a valid point, most of the time it's just hot air!

Fun fact: a vulture is 12 m long. Do you think it should be longer?
Also, I think I'm going to be depressed if ladron qualifies as a troll now. We used to have higher standards. :-(

I don't know that what Ladron said even qualifies as a troll...
bull350: Well of course I was trolling. The character I play in the game associated with these message boards is a pirate. Obviously anyone who plays a character that is a pirate in Vendetta Online is a criminal and a low-life in the real world, who kicks kittens and rapes children and trolls message boards. Therefore, anything I say on the message board must invariably be categorized as trolling, ideally before you waste time reading it : p
Did ladron say something? Sorry, I don't usually waste time reading his posts because everything he says can invariably be categorized as trolling.
:P
Oh, and Detructor - the low speeds are important because without superfast guided missiles, you'd NEVER hit anything going 65 MILES per second. That's 234,000 miles per hour. Or Mach 308. And, realistically, probably more like a relative velocity of over 400,000 miles an hour when both parties are angling towards each other.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy back when, we used to have no top-speed limiter. 'dogfights' consisted of the players zooming past each other at like 400 m/s, taking 10 seconds to slow down, turn around, and then zoom back. Rinse, lather, repeat. It wasn't very fun.
okay...could we ~please~ get back to topic?
Is the wiki down? Is there a website where the devs are saying on what they are working?
and for the speed think, it was just an example (maybe I shouldn't go into that, because it isn't important for the game, it doesn't matter how fast something in total is, as long as it matches the speed of other things in the game, and because it does that, it isn't important)...should've choosen something else...

To the best of my knowledge, the design wiki is not in use. There is instead a Trac System http://trac.edgewall.org/, which is already in use internally but has not yet been open to the users.
Currently the best way to know what the devs are up to is to read the News and Incarnate's posts. I think they're moving so fast that they scarcely have time to write about it.

thanks hope that they'll open it...
