I was confused about what point you were trying to make as Lecter didn't address his comments to you and the style of your own post suggested to me that you don't have any problems invectives in general. I thought maybe you thought that there wasn't any truth behind Lecter's words and I wanted to make sure the facts were clear.

It's actually my responsibility. While I don't approve of the level of invective seen here, it is the devs who get to set the bar. The danger is in allowing oneself to unknowingly go beyond the standard when retorting to an obvious troll. Don't get sucked in.
