Mac user, here. Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'll be giving Vendetta another go. You see I tried it out maybe a year and a half ago and I seem to remember thinking that there was very little room for growth, or that growth happened to quickly. I can't remember which.

At any rate, I did the EVE thing for a couple months. Until one of their updates broke the app and they had no fix. I didn't like the point and click gameplay. Where's the fun in getting destroyed by a 13 year-old after jumping through a stargate? There's no skill in the cockpit required, just point and click.

With the lack of any games available on the Mac, I want to thank the developers for including us in the audience. If the gameplay is at all better than EVE, I'll be paying my dues month after month for quite some time.

Neither description sounds like Vendetta of 18 months ago, but you are in the right place if you didn't care for EVE. Welcome!

Vendetta has tremendous room for growth, and growth has perhaps happened too slowly up until recently.

Perhaps, I just didn't get far enough into the game last time. I think I was only at it for about six weeks.

I understand the development is ongoing, always. How would you say the size of the community has changing?

So, I got to 99.9% complete on download an hour ago. I have slowly watched the number of peers drop away from 45 to 0 with the number of seeders not changing at 2 . Opera shows that I need another .1 MB (100 KB) before I am done.

Is there something wrong with the seeders?

Nevermind, restarting Opera did the trick.

Depends what kind of growth you are talking about, if you mean 999 levels you need to grind for then, indeed, there isn't much of that.
There is lots of room for growth as far as your flying/combat skills go.
