One MORE message board? Many guilds have sites and then there is the official message board on THIS site. I am not sure anyone is looking for an additional place to make posts. Usually the devs are pretty good about NOT censoring or deleting stuff.

Many have made VO forums, all have failed, many also suggest that their forum is better than the official one for X reason.

We need to make a petition that says something like:

a1k0n sucks, just cos he hates sig's and avatar's n stuff dont mean his forum users do!

What we don't need to make is more general vo forums. Guild based forums are the only ones that last, but saying that, I wish ye all the best n good luck.

They detract from the content and general legibility.

I personally dont mind avatars, I know moderating them can be a PITA though. Sigs I tend to agree with being a waste of space, but there has to be a reason for all the bloody fan made forums that claim to be *better* than the VO forums, I only used those two as examples, because they _are_ the two main features that _I_ can think of that are missing in this forum, but not in most popular forum softwares (I resisted from saying phpbb, cos I know that sucks, but it's the most used comparison)

VHQ is superior to the original VO board in every way. Hell, if you don't like avatars or sigs you can *disable* them. Don't get me wrong though, I respect all of your opinions. All I'm asking is for you to give it a chance.

Nothing, MK? Based on your pathetic begging for users, it sounds like I'm expressing the sentiment of the overwhelming majority of the VO-populace.

I agree I'm not sure there is a need for such things, given the current (somewhat) low player density. Given a bigger player-base maybe such a forum would be more accepted amongst niche player communities (eg. emo and weeaboo).

I glanced at the site when it first came around, and again just now, doesn't really seem to have anything that would draw me in, further (and my biggest complain) would be that I can't view any of the forums (or pretty much anything?) without actually signing up to your site. I have enough logins already, and will not go making new ones without something to motivate me. Maybe open up the forum view privileges to public? Seems silly that you would require people to signup to view what's supposed to be (I think it was wasn't it?) a public site?

I agree that the population is too small for tons of VO sites, but VHQ is the only non-guild forum that isnt the VO one. And *when* the amount of users starts to climb, VHQ will already be here. Also, it is fun for me to run the site. It has taught me a lot and prevented me from forgetting things that I've learned in the past. So while there may not be enough users to support the forum *right now*, it isn't a waste of time.

And Lecter, I didn't even make this thread... I'm not begging for anything. Try again. I have to be honest, Lecter, your trolling isn't as good as it used to be.

Update: The abilities to vote in polls, read thread content, and rate threads are now open to unregistered users. In addition, unregistered users can post replies to posts in the News, Polls, Site Comments, and Suggestions forums only.
