Short answer: YES

Longer answer: YES, but... if you're really into spreadsheets and screensavers it's really lots of fun, after a while you'll get so lost inside the menu's that you won't even remember what you were doing for the last 2 hours, then out of no-where... BOOM!! and the last 2 months of saving up and working your way up from nothing all gone... no no, I only joke :p or do I? >.>

EDIT: but seriously, I only tried the trial twice, that video made me LOL for a good long while :p

Darn, that was exactly my first impression when I tried EvE. As for the VO YouTube vids, well, I've been doing that for a while, I've even had people contact me via YouTube for help with VO :D
