You know what would be cool with the ice roids effect? An Ice maze (I'm thinking a bit in the direction of 'Titan A.E.' here, the ice roid scene)

Open GL antialiasing set at 2x drops my FPS from 400 to 60.
Is that normal?

AA is what kills FPS on games, not sure if it's normal in your case because there's a lot of variables, however at 60fps, the game is still going to be perfectly smooth. If you were pushed down to the 30s, then I'd be a lot more concerned lol.
