anyone using any pedals?
I know joys are popular here, what about support for something like this?

Yes, I believe a player name "Look.. No Hands" uses foot petals. His setup is buried on the forums somewhere, go dig it up.
I use pedals with a flight yoke and VO supports it fairly decently. I would not suggest the pedals unless your heavy into other flight sims otherwise a good twist stick is the best bet.
One other set up to look at is a game keypad and stick.
Other points to consider:
You can only assign the normal joystick axis to them so turbo and brake cannot be assigned. I use mine for roll and accelerate/deccellerate. (each pedal controls 1/2).
You can live without roll very well.
Each pedal has a single 1/2 axis on it unless you are actively holding them at mid point so they are not very suitible for use as strafes.
the third axis pushes one pedal forward while the other pedal moves back and is a full axis.
A yoke and pedal setup is much better suited to use with heavy bombers and sticks are better suited for light fighters.

no matter how much shit you buy you'll probably still suck just use your keyboard and mouse end of discussion
thanks for your constructive input peytros
ok what i meant to say is insted of wasting your money the same effect can be had with a keyboard it only takes 3 fingers to play vendetta
sorry pey but I only have one good typing finger and I do use it alot when your around :P
Yes. I use CH Pro Pedals (USB)
ingo.. that's great. Do you have any positive comments about them?
While i agree that using different controller won't make you a great pilot, it does matter.
But it is totally depependant on the person, some totally suck with keyboard/mouse and can't seem to improve at all but can learn to use joystick, some are better with kb than they ever will be with js.
But you still do need to learn either, so if you are used to fpses you might have easier time starting with kb.

I remember when that i was first posted, i was impressed with the ingenuity, and still am. No to mention how impressed i was, and am, with the painted toe nails. :P
actually that was digitally edited in after several comments telling me i should have painted them
