I know this is still some ways off but as I sat thinking of some goals I could set for myself, as far as ingame, the topic of Master Prespector came to mind. I said to myself "Self, what happens to the mission when/if the faction redux comes? Are you going to be able to finish it? Or are they going to replace that mission with something else?"

I talk to myself alot but on the serious side I guess my question is this, Are there plans to change the Master Prospector mission to reflect faction changes or is it going to be one of those missions that unless you finished it before the change you won't be able to get it as an Itani or Serco?

It would be interesting if Master Prospector were a mission open only to characters below a certain level. It'd give the new players a tour of the entire universe, and perhaps a sense of accomplishment that might not grace them otherwise. But that is speculation.

I thought the same thing, so I just scanned roids for a few days and finished. (had like 21 done prior to that)

And no toshiro, that mission should be available to any level, since quite honestly scanning roids is boring at best, and you'll end up cursing vanazek forever.

The faction redux wont prevent people from becoming Master prospector. You can still do the missions so long as you have docking rights.
