I'll be gone this coming week.
FYI everyone. I'm going camping this coming week, leaving tomorrow (Monday) and will be gone all week. I leave you in good hands. If any issues crop up, please Post about them, or create a Customer Support Ticket in the event of something private or really serious (See, this is why we created this, instead of the old "email Incarnate" thing.. emailing me isn't going to be good for much this week). The guys will continue to tweak any issues or problems that come up with the recent changes, as well as do some other housekeeping related development that we really need to get done. So, don't expect anything earth-shattering for Friday (hopefully Dynamic Warfare will give a little stuff to do until we can move on the next refinement).
Please do keep posting feedback on Dynamic Warfare, Multi-player ships, Badges you would like to see, economic-imbalance, piracy and factional issues, and so on. I will be checking all this stuff when I get back, and hopefully will be recharged anew to tackle some of these issues.
We also have an ad campaign kicking off on the 1st, as well as possibly some other exposure, so hopefully that'll be cool and we'll see a big influx this coming month.
Please Be Nice to each other while I'm gone. That's all. See you soon!

Don't get shot by some newly-legitimized gun-slinging maniac!

How I love a blustering ignorance. The only people carrying weapons in a National Park pursuant to that bill (as opposed to illegally, as they would have done before it) will be the same licensed people who carry within the state where the national park lies (for larger National Parks that span states with differing laws on concealed handguns, I think this raises some interesting questions).
Interestingly, not many people want to go through the daily routine that is required to carry a concealed weapon, much less the annual bureaucracy it requires. Those of us who do tend to get in more practice, both as to raw rounds fired for accuracy and with respect to up to date combat shooting techniques, than do the GED candidates you guys are perfectly happy to have on the police force. Moreover, you don't get a lot of crime, much less gun crime, committed by permit holders. This was just the first study I churned up, but www.volokh.com could point you to some others: http://www.txchia.org/sturdevant2000.htm
In sum, your words paint you as much a caricature as the beer swilling, gun totin' redneck you envision taking advantage of this minor extension of state CHL laws.

why would you need a concealed handgun in the woods? i think that is the last place you would run into any scary minorities
Lecter, go back to Off-Topic with that.
<childish> But Person started it! </childish>
Everyone should donate 1 usd to Guild software for keeping dr.lecter confined to virtual killings.
