young whippersnappers and their MMOs. back in MY day, the only multiplayer games were played on IPX networks connected with BNC connectors.. on 386's and we LIKED IT!

Our first network game was written to use IPX in DOS. It was a redux of the (truly oldschool) classic Spacewar. And, yes, I think we did use 10base2 :). It probably also used direct screenwrites via shifts in assembly, back when a mul was "way too many cycles".

smittens i assume u just want your name in the general forum cause your fighting over something thats pointless, mouselock is there for those that want it, and actually your post u posted shows alot of vets use it.
