Ever since the last levy hunt about two weks ago the hive has been absent from latos and several other system... Is this a bug or is the hive just being really slow to spread out again....

Well this morning there were 4 small, 3 common, 4 large and 3 critical.....and i killed them all. so today may be my fault.

Before the last restart I noticed slow growth but since the last restart it has been spreading pretty quick, ive killed off the small, large and criticals once each day.

So really, i may be the problem this week now but I got my queen hunting badge so i'll leave it alone for a bit.

Lets not get to far from the topic. The dynamic hive Does not seem to be regenerating as fast as it should.

"As it should" is an interesting assumption. Spence said he happened to kill the Hive before you showed up. That's always going to be possible, regardless of how fast it regenerates. Unless we make it not dynamic at all, in which case, what's the point.

Does anyone else have any reports of the Hive behaving differently from usual? As far as I know, we haven't changed its expansion behaviour in.. over a year, or more.

the sedina hive is always small or missing because someone is always killing it.

Go to nation space and then you'll get a nice fully spread hive with hours upon hours of juicy hive squashing fun.

Cause nation space is lame and no one goes there.

I dont recall Latos ever going so long without a hive presence but it is possible activities elsewhere are preventing it from spreading.

The Grey Hive is pretty big right now (5 bastions), but they're all in Sedina and Odia. Sometimes that's just how the random-seeding+expansion works out.
