Your version is outdated. Did you use the updater to run vo?

Shouldnt the updater run each time the game is started.

It does, unless you directly run the vendetta binary instead of going through the shortcut/updater binary.

To launch the game, you should run ~/bin/vendetta. If that doesn't exist for some reason, you should be running ~/.vendetta/update.rlb. You should not be running ~/.vendetta/vendetta
