Due to recent events in the irc channel, I figure I would take a vote on whether or not to keep yarhar in the channel or not. This is where that happens.

I vote keep him.

Problem with the bot is to many. When you have serious convo's on the channel the bot does not know when to shut up. Very unacceptable with the topic's at hand in the past few weeks. Several people were not aware it was a bot but thought it was some foreigner who was speaking broken english. I was trying to tell someone in the channel how my dad died that very same day and the bot would not stop. The list goes on and on.

The only good solution I can see is make another channel for the bot.

Yarhar belongs in #vendetta(though I can find a home for him if he gets kicked out)

I vote to keep him in, and you can always tell him to shut up and he'll stop talking or ignore him.

I think #vendetta can bear yarhar, however, a command that would make him keep quiet for half an hour would be nice.

Also, could someone explain yarhar please? As far as I know, he was put online sometime in mid-October 2008, repeats anything that gleaned an lol or rofl or XD or like reaction in the past, and has quite a talent for ending up in the Funny Quotes thread. That said, some of his responses are so good at times that I'd have to see the timestamps, (or the code), to be thoroughly convinced that he's actually a bot.
