It's the first night of Hanuka (add extra C, N or K as you see fit), but they have a bit of time before Christmas. How nice it would have been to wait for them to "suprise" us this year.

They're saving them for a special "Santa" mission that only one person can take. You get to fly Santa's Capship, and you get to keep it if you manage to deliver presents to every station in one hour. This means that player-usable cap ships are ready, and there's a secret new North Pole system.

i was wondering about this too but i assumed e would just have them on Christmas and no other days :(

They'll be along, they're built into the client now. I think it changes over today?

Presents appear when you start your client on the 21st or later (local time).
