Well, if you do get the ability to remotely affect other characters of said account, then by extension you SHOULD be granted the right to know the names of those characters...

Well, that's not how it's implemented atm.

Why would I need to know? All I need is ONE name, it doesn't matter which.

I still dont understand the privacy policy. A character's name is not private. If a char is an ass, why can we hunt down all his/her chars?

What if somebody chooses to *gasp* ROLEPLAY a jerky pirate with one character, and a saintly n00b defender with another? Why shouldn't they be allowed to do that? Also, what if somebody was an ass in-game, realized it, and changed to a fresh character so that they could turn over a new leaf in peace?

because if they only play that prick character rarely, or put him up for good, people cant get revenge.

Icarus really tried that...10 times....never happened...each char was found out and annihilated...

As for finding out the names and stuff I think the devs should only tell the guides, so that they can keep a special watch on him when they are online. This way if the people want to start over or something like that...they have thier chance while being watched more percisely.

People DO role play as a pirate and as a nice person, i won't say who because of the vengeful community, but there are people.

The problem with role playing now is because people want to kill the person that killed them, no matter who they play as. People that hunt down all the characters of an account are makeing people stop roleplaying, turning this more into more of a kill the bloody ******* that killed me.
