I pulled these offline for the moment, so that Pointsman can address a few issues. Among other things, the fact that the mission uses Corvus NPCs, instead of Hostile NPCs, which may have resulted in the faction loss problems noted.

They'll be back online as soon as they're ready.

Last I checked, you could kill Corvus NPCs at Corvus stations with impunity -- hence LENB farming.

Errr. For the record, I edited my other post shortly after making it, but perhaps I wasn't clear.

I got the message however its worded that I'd lost major standing with Corvus. I left sector and returned. When I checked my standing I was at -600. Which I'll admit had me a bit shell shocked, though much of my original post, the bits about being pissed 3 times was meant for comic affect- which I guess failed.

I left sector and returned to the station again (since with Corvus you only really need to worry about the temp KOS thing- ie. I have as Pointsman mentioned dabbled in LENB farming a time or two in my younger and wilder days with no damage done to my POS standing) and was still sitting at -600, while having the ability to buy all ships and weapons previously available to me.

I logged off for a while to do something, and when I logged back in, I naturally checked my standing as I do psychotically anyway and I was back up to a positive 988.

I just want to make this clear, that for whatever reason, my faction loss was not permanent, except what I lost on the failed missions.

I've been pvping for almost a year now, and the advice and practice those missions give is valuable. I would recommend all new players wanting to pvp take them until they've mastered them. Please give them back.
