The Corvus missions are insane. I thought I was a decent pilot until I played them. Lost all on the first try.

Only did the first one twice so far.

Lost the second one several times due to the nfz. Heck you lose 15 of your 60 seconds just getting outside it! And I am totally pissed at going from Corvus POS to -600. I mean, wth?

The third just plain kicks my butt. What ship / weapons load did you have in mind for this one? I'm making the assumption its doable with a vult 3 with n2's or a similar caliber ship. Not that I'll be buying either of those at Corvus for a while. I am still totally pissed at going from Corvus POS to -600. One flare hit and I am toast, because all 3 hogs line up on me and ream me a new one with flares and agt. Seriously. I don't want to lose the educational potential by going in their with swarms and/ or mines just to beat the mission. All I've got to say Pointsman, is if you can do this with a basic pvp setup like a vult with neuts, you are a far better pilot than I previously thought (which was pretty darned good I might say).

And for god's sake DO NOT NERF THESE MISSIONS. I'm still pissed about going from Corvus POS to -600 though.

Fluff

Edit: Oddly enough, most of my faction was restored by logging off and on again. Also, I still showed that I was able to buy all ships and weapons previously available to me while at -600. Odd.

Fluff (who is mildly annoyed at going from POS to 988)

Fluffy, are you sure you are not just temporary KOS? You cant go from POS to -600 with just one "infraction".

Must have been temp KOS. What was odd, was that normally, leaving the sector usually removes this status. However, after leaving the sector and docking with the station a couple of times, I was still at -600. Must have been server lag or something not updating properly. Also, I got a message 'Your standing with Corvus had decreased massively' or however its worded that temp kos does not normally give.

I can beat the last one in 4 minutes with an X-1, usually finish with 40%

The trick is to boost around not doing damage and making he hogs waste all there flares, once that done agt dodging is pretty easy and you can grind them down quite fast, but be carefull not to let the Vults getting behind you, or your gonna become space steaks faster than you can even say it. :P
