VO 1.8.47
Vendetta 1.8.47:
- Added Video Option to reset FOV and HUD Size upon video resolution change.
- Fixed issue with changing HUD size while being damaged.
- Made improvements to server stability.
-----------------------------
The asteroid texture changes did not make it into this release. It would have been pushing it and possibly unstable, so we pushed that back until Monday. At that point there'll probably be about a 20MB patch to download, but the "bone" asteroids will look a lot cooler for those with 256MB+ videocards.

had a crash while changing the FOV with F5 (1.8.46's new FOVs). Sent you a built-in ticket, hope you got it.
Anyways good job for this release, looking forward for even better looking roids !

I'm getting duplicate images on jump sequences. Posting a bug and emailing the images to ray, since I can't figure out how to post them here.
Edit: Nothing to do with my plugins. I took the folder completely out and had the same effect. Though I seem to be the only player with this problem.
Edit2: Figured it out. Having screen glow on or high quality appears to create the duplicate image on the front radar

Is there any way to make the texture update optional? That or provide an alternative way to download it?
My school's network eats up anything that's not kosher http (including its own secure webmail interface) to the point where a regular update takes me about forty minutes to download. (A minute's worth of watching my update download tells me it's going at about 3Kb/s.)
Things I download off the interwebs tend to go pretty fast though...

Genka: we'll try to have the full-install download updated at the same time as the actual patch. That way you can just download the entire game via bittorrent or http if that works better for you.
Fluffy: That's.. weird. Can you post to Bugs with a screenshot and a description of your videocard/drivers, please? Thanks.

Huh, I wonder what "Made improvements to server stability." is doing in client changelog.
It isn't a "client changelog". It's a version changelog. We frequently put things in there that, strictly speaking, had nothing to do with the client. This includes server-side gameplay additions and other improvements. We would hardly be able to post anything about Border Skirmish or changes to the Hive, sector redesign and so on, if the changelog were client-specific.
