There is a problem with the screen updating, obviously when the graphics aren't showing properly.

But happens in subtle ways too; chat doesn't update properly. Instructions to buy and sell doesn't always update; the same with mission updates and actions.

Found this in winsock:

It's some kind of connection problem, probably.

Yeh thought that, funny the file has vanished, not the contents of the file, but the file itself.

It would be best to keep this all in the one thread. It's almost certainly all related.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "file has vanished". The errors.log does get overwritten each time you run the client.
