HELP!!! can somebody please give me some advice!!
I have been playing vendetta quite happily until about 2 weeks ago. I received an update and since then I cannot connect to the game server.
I can still receive the updates but not play the game.
Does any1 know the server ip address because my internet provider has requested it so that they can run some checks??
Any other advice also gratefully received!!!

Pathfinder: If you run Norton or another brand of security software, try disabling it and then run Vendetta again. If it works, then the security suite is the culprit and you will just have to manually tell it to allow Vendetta to run and it should ignore it from then on.

I and a few other users had this problem after 3.2.8 update which, for some reason, didn't trigger Norton to do a user prompt when the user tried to run Vendetta.

We need to know what OS you're running to give you specific help on that topic. You could however try and locate the game executable and run that, instead of the updater...

On the server ip-thing: They can alway so a reverse dns lookup, on the address. What wonders me though is, what kind of tests...

I also have been haveing login issues and I'm on a Mac It seems that I login and it takes forever to sign on or I have to enter the password a number of times. I also noticed if your destroyed and try to get the same ship you had including weapons it dosen't work. I get the ship but have to buy everything again and reconfigure things. Needless to say its a pain. :-)

This all probably belongs in the "Bugs" forum, but I'll leave it here until we hear from Pathfinder so he can find it easily.

Regarding the "buyback bug": I have found that if I wait about 2 seconds before hitting the buyback button, I do not get the error at all.
