800x600 max hudscale is starting to piss me off.
I dunno if there is a way to change this, and if there is I am sorry, but only being able to scale the hud up-to 800x600 is silly. If I change it to a higher value, like 1024x768 it gets changed when I load VO.
We should be able to scale the hud to whatever value we want! VO looks sweet on my 34" TV, but the hud looks like crap!
Take this thread with a pinch of salt, but really, heh.

How are you changing it to 1024x768? It should save the previous setting you had it set to and if not, then there's probably some conflict over which mode is used when starting up.
Ray, you mis-understand.
There are 2 hudmodes available via F5. 640xsummink, and 800x600. If I change the setting in config.ini to be something else (like 1027x768) VO puts me back to the 640x one, there is no way to scale the hud above 800x600. Or am I wrong? I would like to be, I am a newb when it comes to scaling the hud? thats fine.

OH I see.
That is controlled by the wgaf.cfg file:
alias hudscale1 "set rHUDxscale 800; set rHUDyscale 600; alias hudscale hudscale2"
alias hudscale2 "set rHUDxscale 640; set rHUDyscale 480; alias hudscale hudscale1"
Change those two and you should be good to go. I suppose adding a setting to change that would be nice.

Video card may be the culprit.
What OS are you using ArAel? You must set your LCD TV to primary monitor if you are using a Microsoft product, and if you are not, well, thats for the Linux or Mac forums...
or you can set it to clone
