having all the tracks in one sector would be cool, we could have races to see who could get through all of them in a specific order the fastest.

I always thought the race tubes should be used during tutorial missions. Even colony wars had something simaler. Like "You must fly this route in less than 2 minutes to pass to the next test" But I do not have a tube creator.
