Does the Setech X-52 stick work in game?

Aug 15, 2008 Ciedoc link
I just loaded the game and when I go to controls it seems to recognize my stick and throttle controls meaning I can twist and turn and move the controls in that window and see the bars move. However when I launch my throttle controls do not input and I have to use the keyboard.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Yes it does , but it needs to be set up directly in config.ini.

Read through the following thread.

Also, be sure that you're using the right bindings. The Throttle bind only works in Flight Assist mode- if you fly in Physics mode, you need a different bind on that axis (Acceleration, I believe? Check the dropdown list, it's obvious when you see it). This tripped me up when I tried to set a stick for the first time.

Eventually, you will need to manually edit config.ini to get the best results from your joystick. A good list of the keys can be found in the thread --

Left side -- human readable description of the key.
Right side -- the "JOYBUTTONxx" that the config.ini looks at for the corresponding command.
