Please Help Test Major Bot Change
We made a pretty significant change to the way mission-editor-spawned bots are controlled. It has the potential to increase their reliability and allow us to implement more interesting features, but it may also have broken certain missions in subtle ways. If you have the time and inclination, please log on to the test server (instructions below), and play through some of these missions:
* All the training missions involving bots (3 and up I think) and advanced combat training.
* The (at least 3) TPG Test Pilot certification missions
* The missions beginning with: Rogue Drones
* Phaserlight's Mining mission tree including: Xithricite Refinery Introduction, Water Distiller Needed, Growing Nanites, and Hydrocarbon Synthesis (there are others and I'm not sure which is first)
I know there are more; if anyone (especially Phaserlight) wants to add to the list, please do.
For those who are new to the test server, to get there just enter "test:" (without the quotes) before your username when logging into the game. The test server database was updated fairly recently, but if you just signed up in the last few weeks you may find it impossible to log in to the test server.

Sounds interesting. I don't know if it's related but I took the first biocom mission (of the mission tree that leads to getting the biocom mine) on the test server yesterday, and no bots spawned at all. I did it twice with the same result.
There were some bugs that got fixed late last night.
Is the long-awaited change of missioned bots being KOURIER now?
I will test these as time permits.

I tried a few missions and adv combat on test: , things seemed fine as far as I could see.
I note that static hive collectors and queen escorts recognize that a player is in sector but still do not attack.
