More like bug-that-should-be-a-feature.

Wormhole sectors (and maybe station sectors) in non-capitol systems should be able to have ion storms.

And Verasi I-5 needs its green fog already!

yea getting ion storms in stations and WH's is great cause traffic goes through there alot but how about fixing how ion storms always hang out in areas no one ever goes....

Pelatus is always littered with them...who goes to pelatus! nothing is there!

Same with itani space, who goes there aside from Deneb and newb sectors! always zillions of storms!

What? Ion storms are randomly spawned in asteroid sectors (except for specific capitol/newbie areas). They do have some relevance, especially as the ores/minerals that can be mined in a given area start to have more importance to the local economy.

I don't know about ion storms in WH sectors, but in non-capital stations sounds cool.

I go to pelatus sometimes.... Its a great place to pirate, only two wormholes and a single station, makes it considerably harder for a trader to disappear on you. Its a great natural choke point in grey.
