EZR isn't a pirate, nor a trader, he isn't a serco national, and he DANG sure ain't no blue-blood itani.

I'm a serco, kicked out of the serco military due to some stupid thing that wasnt my fault, yet my "great" government decided I'd make a good scapegoat..

So.. now I just troll the forums and kick around the universe lookin for a good time now and again.. looking for work that lets me shoot stuff, doing various "blow the hive up" missions for various unaffiliated corporations.. I pretty much keep to myself, and if any 'unfriendlies' head towards me, they're given a 'proximity warning'. Basically, if you appear hostile, and do not signal that your intentions are friendly, and you come within firing range... well.. I hope you fight better than me.

Economy: The game economy, such as it is, is based on guesswork. The communication between stations pre-Wild West -- you have no way of telling what can be sold where or for how much without going there. There is no crafting. I am told that there are player guilds that help by scouting things out.

Ships: There are only a handful of player ships. In any given faction, there are only three or four ships; perhaps a dozen PC ships total in the entire game. That by itself is not so bad -- Star Wars Galaxies does not have many more ships than that.

The main game I would compare Vendetta to is Star Wars Galaxies. Star Wars Galaxies has much better quests, more (and more interesting looking) ships, and is generally prettier. Vendetta is cheaper, has better ship controls (much better), and does not burden you with a really drab "ground game" in between missions.

Neither game offers everything I want. I am currently trying to decide which offers more what I am looking for, at least until another game comes out that does match what I am looking for.

The economy is not based on guesswork. You can read the station news for announcements of what is in demand where. Trading missions also give a clue as to what might sell well.

There IS rudimentary crafting going on at the station level (behind the scenes - there are reasons things are in demand). This is not yet apparent at the player level, but it will be for cap ships and other items.

Keep in mind that Vendetta isn't even close to finished - it's in heavy development and may spawn the features you are looking for.
