wow... blaster you're much bettter against bots than I am... I can only go 800m without getting hit.
I play with bots too much ;)
I like players more. But on a side note there's an easier two person cap... Player A bot distracts the outer sector, player B goes to the flag sector gate. A then distracts the flag sector, B hops back and forth (note this isn't easy the bots will camp and you sometimes have to go over 500m to get to the wormhole). B grabs the flag, and goes back to hopping. A distracts the outer sector again.
Much to my displeasure I ended up doing this last night when the bots thought it would be funny to kill both the distractors in our 3 person cap at the same time just after I picked up the flag in s3. But on the good side the distractors made it back and I got out of there with 1%.

@tracid
I wanna see you fighting again 10 Bots(500) and 2 Players.
You have a really big mouth I think.
I bet you are Defense Ship 4.
Do you remember?
Without bots you die easiely.
PS: I know! My english is still bad.

actually tracid isn't Defense Ship 4... SirCamps is.. and he's told us several times.
another warp hopping problem...
DesertScorpio, I am DS4, as well as Bacix Tenra (I hop between red and blue nations, although I also have a gold char, DS5 that is mothballed).
Tracid:
Defending is actually quite easy. So is attacking. Hop in a vulture with twin flares, a medium engine, and a fast charge battery, tie up all the bots, and let your team cap. Put one guy in something fast to barrel-roll around the defense turrets, or nuke them. When that's done, come in and grab the flag. That only requires 3 extra people (the 3rd for the bots in the second sector).
I think most cap teams are hung up on the turrets. Either they let their distractor bumble into mines, or they try and do without both a distractor and a nuker.
Yesterday we were able to easily hold off the golds, because they'd enter and throw themselves at the flag, and would be taken care of by the turrets, or my nukes. 10 golds were not able to cap against 4 blue because of them being disorganized.

well if there's 4 enemies already in 1/2/3 defending your hopes of capping are pretty close to none.
With over 2 defenders, you need a team of 8+ to even have a chance. One person can easily hold off 8 if they plan it right with spread out mines, swarms and rockets.
