What has changed since beta?

Ok, so I beta tested for Vendetta, and since I'm currently in the market for an online game, I thought I would check back here. Amazingly, my account is still on the books. Its been...jesus its been 4 years since I've played, so all my memories are a bit....hazy. I remember the game being real time space flight and combat, and there were a lot of space robots to kill.

It looks like things have really improved around here, but I need some info from the players before I start playing again. First off, can I use a game controller to play? More specifically, an Xbox 360 controller. Secondly, how is the community here? I know there aren't a huge amount of people playing, but as long as people are nice thats not too big of an issue. Lastly, what are the biggest additions to the game since beta? I read something about capital ships, which sounds awesome.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I don't use a controller myself, but I know people use Xbox 360 controllers with Vendetta so you should be fine.

The community (especially the developers) are awesome, for the most part. There are a couple resident trolls who like to feed on posts by people who don't really know the game. :P

There are a few new ships, a whole new interface, a 'border skirmish' that happens every 4 hours in Deneb B-12, which has lots of explosions and capships, new missions, stuff mentioned here, the PCC, plugins, a dynamic expanding hive in grey space, Serco space, and Itani space, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Why not make a new account and try it out for 8 hours? If you like it you could log in to your old account and sign up.

Excellent idea, I didn't know you could do that!
