If you are starting the game by running Vendettaclient.app, it bypasses the updater.

That's probably what was happening. Mine updates fine.

Mmmkay, let's wrap this up, and chill with the vitriolic responses. I don't use the mac version that frequently, but we tried to make it as simple as humanly possible to run the game.. by just clicking on the Vendetta Online icon. If there's an actual problem with the updater, please let us know. But, that would be pretty catastrophic, so we'd probably have a lot more people posting about this.
